Is this something I need?

Why Board Certification is important

It’s More than a Merit Badge
Functioning as a Board Certified Patient Advocate means using a different skill set and approach than the advocacy work you perform as a physician. Through the education of becoming certified, you demonstrate your commitment to maintaining the highest levels of competency, ethics, and knowledge in this growing field.

Stand Out from the Crowd
The BCPA certification assures clients that their advocate has met the basic minimum standards and competencies defined by the Patient Advocate Certification Board. It can also justify a higher fee schedule.

The best part?

You’ll be part of a community

There is a small but growing, vibrant community of physicians certified by the PACB. Through engaging with our group and completing the certification process, you will become part of the movement to define and shape the future of Physician as Independent Patient Advocates.

Okay, I’m in…
